FORMATS | BANNER & VIDEO FOR HBBTV

Advertisers have two options to appear on the screens via HbbTV. They can opt for a L-Shaped banner Ad (Switch Banner) displayed for a maximum of 12 seconds during programming. Alternatively, they can choose a video format (up to 60") that overlays on top of the TV promos. The appearance of ads and the placement on screen can be triggered either by SCTE-35 Markers provided by the broadcaster or through the TV manifest (schedule) by sharing an XML sheet with us with clear indications where ads are permissible to appear.

Broadcasters have the autonomy to control when ads appear and the types of clients they cater to, ensuring alignment with their brand values and audience preferences.
